I have this.... it works alright and is pretty light. If you ever take the tank out it can't be upright in any wind, also the top cap is super flimsy and bends, in fact all the metal is very thin and subject to bending.
Steel one is for $20 more… looks much better…

Are these any good in a windy area? It gets gusty in the sf Bay Area quite often.

Does anyone know if this has to be lit with a match or is it strictly on / off? I am a complete clutz and I don't mess with propane tanks because I know I'll blow my hand off or worse. But if this is as simple as adding a tank and hitting an on and off switch, I'm game for one of two. But not if striking a match or using a lighter is involved.

Looks the same as what I've used before - red button(battery / piezo?) to ignite a pilot

Doesn't it have a sand or water tank in the bottom ?

Dang, these things are getting cheap. Make me wonder if this was delayed shipment from the crunch and now that they are finally here, pandemic is over and people have stopped buying these.

Any difference in quality between any of these heaters that all look the same? Would like to get 2 but I don't mind paying a little more for something that will last longer... Just have no idea how to compare one to the next.

The pandemic is over? Has anyone told the virus?

A cover patio that is exposed on three sides would work.
