Only if you want to go to sleep and never wake up.
Could I just put this dead smack in the middle of my driveway during winter so I don't have to shovel? That's how that works right?
yep, just remember to turn it upside down, because the heating element is on top, you should be good to go!

Would be nice if there was a stainless steel option... Just wondering how does this compare to the Costco/home Depot ones that went on sale earlier

I bought this recently for $79 and really like it. It's lightweight so if you have strong winds you'd need to tie it down or use something more than just the propane tank to weigh it down. Overall, the construction seems similar to what you'd find at HD and it puts out good heat. You can find an inexpensive cover for around $10 if you don't mind it being fitted.

Take the hood off, crank up the pressure and walk around with it under your arm like it's a flamethrower. Sure your neighbors may look at you funny - but it ll be worth it.

The description says 48,000 BTUs in one section and 41,000 in another. Also covers 100 sq. ft. Another Mainstays heater on their site is $99, says 48,000 BTUs and covers 200 sq. ft. Food for thought.

I've been planning on taking a nice dirt nap for a while. Will this fit the bill?
