Please don't trust this secondipity.com especially on these expensive items. I purchased exact same model item 2 months back and received the item but it was intended to be sold only in Mexico. It clearly says only "To be Sold in Mexico". Struck withit out returns.

I'm not quite sure this was a big problem, they are known to sell refurbished and returned products, the products specs aren't different as far as I know, it still had the 90 days limited warranty and easily returnable. Not saying it has never happened but I didn't have any issues making returns and I haven't personally seen anyone have issues with returning items to them.

did it work and perform just fine?

Hopefully you realize that almost all Sony, Samsungs and LGs are made in Mexico

I bought this item and it worked fine and no blemishes. Delivery was professional and early from a contracted freight company. Sadly, it was nudged off the stand by a cat and shattered after it crashed to the floor. Tempted to do the same deal again.

Was that the only issue? Just because it was intended to be sold in another county doesn't mean the specs are any different. If all it is is navigating the menu to change the default language, then that's little sacrifice for something that's going for double the price at BB.

In for one. The return policy seems decent enough with free returns and the price is too good to pass up for a TV with HDMI 2.1, 120Hz and VRR. We'll see how it goes.

I feel like the TV initial loading is taking too much time (Usually between 10-30 seconds). That is very slow and I have a very fast internet connection and my line is 1.2 Gbps line and I usually get close to 700 Mbps speeds on my systems and not sure what is causing this issue

Sometimes when you turn on TV suddenly to watch a sports moment, this delays making me miss those special moment and is like a punch in the gut. But I am not sure what's causing this delay and whether this is common for this model TV all the time.

Looks like deal is still live for this model at this price. Though I ended up buying KD55X85J for $100 less. Hopefully I have no issues...

EDIT: anybody care to share what their shipping experience has been like with this company?
