Too bad it's not a desk clamp model. Seems like a great deal, regardless, but I already have way too many mounts and no desk clamp kills it for me.

I'd be worried about the stand flipping over after mounting. Doubt it can handle 35lbs distributed evenly. Not sure how wide is the base.

It's not like it has arms, and all the weight is directly over the stand (which I assume weighs quite a bit), plus Mount-It! is a reputable brand, so I doubt it would be tipsy. However, I wouldn't put it anywhere someone could accidentally hit, brush it.

I doubt that is the case. When you tilt monitors forward at an angle, the weight is significantly shifted and you risk a tilt. I don't know how wide is the base and what it weighs, but for this price it is no brainer even if it is trash.

Lol that is true. I'd not want to put more than $100 monitors on this stand. Bare minimum HD monitors. No way workhorse monitors on this stand. For my work setup, I have them setup as horizontal. These would be good for having a personal computer monitors attached next to work setup.

we do have something called Center Point of Gravity. the further you move the weight from the base the more unstable it will be, unless weight is added to the base to bring the CPG down.

OOS Frown Mount-it compatible with VIVO stands, as far as I know, and I have 7 of them at home. Was looking to get higher poll and for $6 it's no brainer since VIVO original polls cost around $30+
oh well... Should stop reading till 4AM to be able to catch earlier deals.
