It might be. Considering they often run promos for Fandango & Atom Tickets it could be worth it. Waives online fees and take advantage of deals, plus earn $5 AMC Stubs credits.
Right now you can book tickets via Atom Tickets and get $5 off concessions and 50% off large popcorn (https://slickdeals.net/f/15803986). They both stack (free or cheap popcorn). Plus you get a free large popcorn and drink on your birthday month.
Even without promos, Fandango VIP Plus offers $5 credits for future movies or VUDU after seeing 4 movies. You can waive the fees on Atom Tickets and Fandango.

No, but if you order tickets online then you will have the convenience fee waived. Those B1G1 code from Xfinity or the discount coupons for Top Gun require ordering online. You’ll get all your $7.50 back in convenience fees after three orders.

Yes. Stubs premiere waives fandango and atom fees. And if you use fandango, you can earn $5 vip rewards.
