I would agree, if ebay didn't charge tax. Cheaper options from a few online tcg stores, just because no tax. I paid less and already got my box today, along with earning some reward points with the sites.

That is a hard question. Depends on the condition and how many are out there and if Pokemon is still thriving franchise etc.

If you are a collector of Pokemon cards, you may personally get more value out of the item vs if you are just hoping the value goes up later.

However, you can look at the sealed box sets over the past few years to get an idea of what the value would be.

Being that it is Pokemon, I can assume that it will still be a hot franchise 10 years from now. Without consideration for the original sets. If the Pokemon related items of the past are an indicator. Even if this specific item isn't the most sought after. There will still be some value to be had.

Hype increases prices for new sets. Pull rates are pretty hard. You can flip for profits but depends on how much time you want to invest. Be warned Pokemon has come out saying they are gonna be reprinting alot of recent card sets thereby tanking the value of alot of these cards. High card value will need to be PSA/other equivalent graded which costs additional time and money and these will not come.anywwhre close to charizards from the original sets. prices range from $100-1000+ but you'll need PSA10 to unlock those prices. pull rates I think we're like 1/256 or something like that. Look elsewhere if you're looking for quick flips unless you just wanna sell the booster packs or enjoy playing Pokemon cards/collecting. I don't recommend sitting on the booster packs due to the reprinting as these will likely be able to get.

Yes it will be worth more but there are way better ROI than getting these. If you do wanna buy. Recommend buying later when the prices have come down and noone wants the set anymore.

Heard positive things about this seller from social media comments. I just paid more locally cause I couldn't wait. Personal experience is YMMV but I had about 7 hits/pulls and 5 gallery hits from 36 packs which is a 33% hit rate (kinda avg). Had only 1 single holo rare VSTAR pull out of the 36 packs. If taking away the gallery hits, it's 7 out of 36 which is 19% hit rate. Personally I'm going to buy like 20 or so singles next time.

Supply and demand, pokemon cards are being produced at a rate more than ever because of the uptick in people interested. There will be a lot of people buying these and never opening them. The value will not be as insane as older sets as these sets are flooding the market.

If it's random, you're not guaranteed to get anything. It's just a box of 36 booster packs.

the astral radiance booster box I got from them earlier this week were factory sealed and the packs did not seem to have been tempered with. I got a fair amount of hits from the box but they weren't anything to brag about. also of note, I got numerous packs where the 3 cards after the energy card were severely miscut/off center. I have a few of the seller's 3 packs arriving soon so I'll see how that goes.
