Great price on a video stabilizer for anyone who doesn't want to spend too much. I picked one up to use for shooting video with my SLR. Thanks OP!

build quality aligned with the price, head is too stiff to use as video monopod, supplied weights are heavy I use as paperweight, worth the price one way or another.

I might use one for self tapes in a small room. Tripods take too much room

I was doing that in the 90s and people laughed at me then, too.

Way to answer a question without answering it.

I am sure they really want to know if the tri-podded monopod is stable enough to be used in place of a tripod. Clearly they knew it was not a traditional tripod...

Not as stable, no, but it might be stable enough depending on your needs. The stability will also be influenced by how far you have it extended, the weight of the equipment you are using, and any conditions such as wind, floor vibration, etc. This is not a particularly high grade one but it would probably be fine for mounting a phone or a small point-and-shoot.
