For whatever reason and presume profits, 'Chemical Guys' are increasingly cheapening their outsourced products that gained them the reputation they once had.
One may as well buy Meguiar's, Mothers, 3M, or even Polyte, or whatever Walmart sells and be happier. Even HF has a decent supply of decent products at reasonable prices... like their 79 cent applicator pad [harborfreight.com].

For these you can also try to reuse them by wrapping a good microfiber around them. Not perfect, but works.
