For those wondering if the new mouse is worth upgrading if you already have the 3, it's probably not. Only differences are a higher sensitivity (8000 dpi vs 4000) and quieter buttons. Reviews are pretty positive for the keyboard other than the price, which this deal helps with.

Also it seems odd that they would bundle the 3S with its silent switches with a mechanical keyboard. I would recommend instead pairing it with the older MX Keys if you're in a noise-sensitive environment.

Have to admit the quieter buttons are tempting. It's my only complaint about the MX3.

There are 3 different switch types to choose from when you order, including a quieter one. Not sure how it compares to the MX Keys though

Just from personal experience working in an eerily quiet office, I found the MX Keys was still significantly quieter than a mech keyboard with Cherry MX Silent Red switches. I use it with a Logi M650 L mouse which I believe have the same switches as this 3S mouse.

Interesting they have the 3S at 100. Articles I saw last week said it was likely to retail for 160.

Well that probably settles it for anyone wondering about the noise in comparison to the MX Keys then.

edit: I realize in hindsight that that response could sound sarcastic but it's not meant as such.

Heads up for those looking to upgrade only the MX Master 3S to use with a MX Keys. The 3S utilizes the new "Bolt" dongle that is not backwards compatible with Logitech devices that use a Unifying Receiver. Because of this, you'll need to have two dongles to pair the mouse and the MX keys (non business version) or older keyboards.

One more exception: the MX keys "mini" also uses the Bolt dongle.

Was hoping to get a sale on these - my original MX Master is on its last legs. I was also able to add a second deskmat to push the total over $250 to get the $50 off

The scroll wheel on the MX 3 is like sex. The rest of the mouse is nice too, but not much cup of tea, i prefer a trackball. That said, i don't use my trackball much because of that scroll wheel.

I can't comment on the keyboard, but I have an older version of the mouse and it really is fantastic. If you operate a mouse and keyboard for a living, it's really worth paying for a good mouse.

Still a good deal but it appears the desk mat is no longer free like it was yesterday and now you have to pay 20 for it to push you over to qualify for the 50 off so you're really only saving 30.

I wonder if I could return the mat after ordering the keyboard and mouse?

I'm old, so excuse this question that I've had for awhile.

Back in the ball mice days we had to use a mouse pad. Then optical mice came out and it was this big thing that you can use on any surface and mouse pads are this old relic that you don't need anymore. Now days it seems we are moving back to mouse pads, but even bigger to cover the whole/portions of the desk. But why? What's the benefit of a desk mat.

I literally just placed an order for the mx mechanical keys and 3s mouse, so contacted logitech support to inquire about free mat. They said all sales are final and cannot receive the free mat even though it was only 30 minutes ago. So make sure you select the combo. No more mid grey available.

I've got one of glass top Costco standing desks that became wildly popular due to being affordable and Costco. I now use a large mat to keep the damn thing from scratching and an optical.mouse doesn't work on the surface.
