Not a bad deal; however, look at the reviews on other sites for dead motherboards. I had two acers once and one died in warranty and the other one died out of the warranty with a bad motherboard. I don't trust MSI after wanting to upgrade and they had a stupid sticker there. The one laptop for MSI required you to take apart the motherboard to get to the other slot. HP's don't seem to last, so it appears to be Dell and Lenovo for me sadly as I am jealous over the deals wit these other manufacturers!

I owned one for 2 years now. Screen does bleed a little when black. Laptop fan is loud on turbo mode but it's doing its job keeping laptop cool on max settings (it will get hot without it). Bluetooth is glitchy as others has stated (just need to restart connection which is annoying when it happens).

Other than the above, love this laptop and would definitely upgrade to the 3070 if I needed one!

Bought a Acer Predator in 2016. Spent $2200. Hardly used and didn't game on it. Died a few days out of warranty. Acer reps the worst. I sent it to the other place Office Space style. Will never trust Acer machines again. They have mobo problems.

Bought an older version of this model, with the 2070, 2 years ago for my daughter. It died in two months (under warranty). I brought it back to where I purchased it and got a replacement; this one has so far been good. She loves it.
