Did you watch the entire series? It was so good and the most accurate docuseries about Chernobyl. I've seen on Reddit that showed actual pictures and compared it to the scene and it was almost identical.

One of the best tv shows ever made, is that simple. If some people can't get their political views make them see a masterpiece in terms of acting, pace, script, etc. What can we say, nothing.

Lol well, well, well...this is history, part of Russia's history. Guess Putin also failed the history class too
Chernobyl is in Ukraine, which was a part of Soviet Union at the time. While Russia was the biggest republic of Soviet Union, saying Chernobyl was a part of Russian history is not really accurate. Ukraine and Belarus were, and still are, the most affected by this catastrophe

I actually just bought this for $10 on iTunes [apple.com] (U.S. store) yesterday to rewatch on the go. Great mini-series for $2/episode.

At first I didn't like the very first episode, even had doubts to continue, but as the series progressed it was actually really good. It was shot in Vilnius, Lithuania and the stags you see are Ignalina nuclear power plant, which by the way used the same RBMK type reactor. If you ever read the book Chernobylskaya molitva, (Chernobyl Prayer) by Svetlana Alexievich, you will recognize that the series' creators followed some of the stories.

This is a REALLY good series.

And, very sad/crazy show. It painted a much bigger picture for me for this tragedy.
