Thanks to Deal Hunter savvyshopper7903 for posting this deal.

About this Product:
  • Circuit Explorer is a simple building set with built-in connections, but instead of creating flat circuits on a flat board, kids are building realistic-looking 3D toys that light up and move!
  • Just follow the directional arrows to connect the pieces correctly, building the pieces and activating lights and motion. It's simple, but also clearly introduces the basics of building circuits – Power On + Conductor + Power Off = Effect.
  • Requires a total of 15 AAA batteries, not included.

Requires 15 AA batteries made it a no for me. I know it's a circuit toy, but really?
It's 15 AAA actually, but still ridiculous.
We have this a d the other sets that go with it. I got them on deals at least as good as this in the past. It is a cute set, but it doesn't actually teach a whole lot about circuits. The diagrams are shown on the sides of the few pieces that have connections, but it is just as easy to tell how to out them together without worrying about the circuit diagrams. My 9yo likes it but he doesn't pull it out to play very often., so I wouldn't rate it too highly on the hours of distraction it would provide. He likes the hexbug space station set much more.

Last time I bought something from them it was DOA. My bad because I didn't realize in time, but ended up eating the $s of the purchase. Womp womp.
