Please, do your future self a favor. Go to a running shoe store, get fitted for a pair of shoes that suit your feet. You may overpay by $50 but you'll enjoy running while minimizing injuries.
I.e i have flat and wide feet. I wanted medium cushions for up to 5k runs. I was suggested Mizuno Waves and it made a huge difference. I would have never found them just by looking for high end shoe deals.

Great deal on one of the best carbon plated racers and one of the best carbon plated trainers you can buy. Need to pick up my paces a little to make them worth it, but that's coming along.

I bought a pair of the Pros on a SD impulse buy last June and it's been the best decision ever. Best racing shoe I've ever had. I've now used them from anything from a track 5k to a road 10 mile. It's amazing how much less beat up I feel after racing in these shoes. I would be so shredded after racing a track 5k in spikes. With these, I feel like I could turn around and run another one the next day.
I only have 42 miles on my Endorphin Pro 1's.....But might as well snag another pair....
That's the issue that I'm trying to correct (at 49 years old) - goi g from heel striker to toe striker.it's not easy.
It also seems that these shows are not very comfortable unless you're running sub 7 minute miles.
No problem for me, midfoot/heel striker here. Shoes are excellent for 7m30s pace or faster but sometime 8m pace is fine. However I highly recommend the Speed for daily training as it's more comfortable and can adapt to various speeds.
