Because slickdeals went from being an open platform, to being a business. The site OP is referring to is band from discussion here. The site refuses to profit share with slickdeals, so is seen as competition.
Most content are filmed in 24hz or 30hz, so why does that matter? Unless your stickler videophile that wants clean 3:2 pulldown or high end gamer than this TV isn't marketed towards you
It's nice to have for my ps5.. Not exactly high end gaming but ok
Looks like I was right .. there is a $99.99 charge on my credit card from Costco.

It looks like you get $100 off the price of the TV if you purchase the $99 Allstate warranty...........which is billed separately. I might just go with it since it comes out to $33 per year of additional warranty.
Is the A1 better than the Sony X90CJ? I assume so considering it's OLED. Seems to be a very affordable OLED compared to other models
The x90j is brighter and has 120hz, HDMI 2.1, HDR10, etc In a dark room, and if your content isn't gaming, yes the A1 will look significantly better for movies or content like that. But there is no way around it being dim.
I'm glad I paid the extra $20 for the delivery.Had no idea how thin the screen is....the 2 guys were really careful taking it out of the box , attaching the legs and it was turned on before they left.
Be aware LG has locked out the ability to turn off TruMotion. So for those that hate the soap opera effect LG has taken away the option to turn it off. I'm returning an LG I just bought as I couldn't find the option and after finding this out and I'm picking up the Sony A80J. We have no choice as I hate it and the wife wont watch it either. It's horrible. I also checked my Shop TV (Cheap LG) that used to have the option and via updates it's now locked out and forced on. LG has lost their minds on this one.

He posts this EVERY TIME with no links to where he supposedly buys them. Almost identical word for word.
