As with almost every comparison, it comes down to your usage. Regardless, the things to consider are:

This has a more powerful processor compared to the Zenbook (6-core vs 8-core) and the difference is very much noticeable
This has a better screen than the Zenbook. The latter has a 250-nits (pushes to around 280) whereas this one has just above 300-nits
This has twice the storage than the Zenbook

You're getting the above 3 for a lower price than the Zenbook, however:

This has a 48 Whr battery whereas the Zenbook has a 67 Whr battery
If you're someone who plays light games or edits photos and videos then you would want to consider the Zenbook which has a dedicated GPU (MX450) with a separate 2GB RAM for it. So it won't take up the integrated 8GB RAM when being used. The MX450 is comparable to Intel's Iris Xe 96EU (in some laptops it even performs better than the latter). AMD's integrated Radeon graphics lack far behind.
However, due to the MX450 the Zenbook heats up quite a lot and this has reported by numerous customers as well as YouTube reviews. Not sure how it impacts the battery life.
Better port selection on the Zenbook
Most importantly this is refurbished, although despite that being directly from Acer, it might be a deal breaker for some

No, it does not. Ryzen laptops (up till now) don't support thunderbolt 4 despite having a USB-C port. The next Gen is supposed to.

No, it is not. It's LPDDR4x which is soldered.

12% off added in cart.

I have one of these, it's nice. Has the brighter auo screen but the response times are rough when watching videos. Everything else is great.

Mediatek wifi card in mine.

This comes with a two year warranty though so I don't see refurb as an issue.

2 year allstate warranty makes the refurb aspect moot in my opinion.

16Gb RAM is becoming standard at the new price for this machine class…if that were the case here this would be slick.

the Intell chip version of this has a 3:2 aspect ratio screen and is also available on ebay for cheaper. But some of the same drawbacks like 8GB ram. Thunderbolt and PD charging is nice. Everyone says the keyboatd absolutely sucks and thats why I haven't taken the bait yet. Im still trying to figure out if the keyboard is expected to be like that bc its lightweight or whether it really just sucks.

So both the swift 3s I have (13.5 and the Ryzen 14" one) have pretty terrible ghosting issues.

If you aren't sensitive to it / it doesn't want to make you hurl when watching twitch it's great
