depends on what you are using them for and if you need them asap or not. If you are patient the other sets can be had for ~$50 range. The thing with these sets is that the individual pieces are priced so high that if you need to add 2 or 3 sizes to it, you might as well just get the bigger set with everything you need.

Carbide will be harder. If you use them a lot it has more wear resistance. It's also more brittle so if you drop them more likely they chip or break.

If you have a specific use case for it then get them otherwise bi-metal likely will meet most needs
