Endorphin Speed 2 is a nylon plated tempo/racing shoe that I do not see appropriate for standing or expectation of maximum cushioning. It has an aggressive roll profile to promote speed and efficiency with forward motion. They CAN be used for longer distance daily training but shine for faster work/shorter distances. I would not compare this model to adidas UB or Hoka shoes. These are a performance shoe, not a plush cushioned-style shoe. Maybe look at the Triumph 19 or Ride 14/15 should you want more of a daily shoe.
How does these shoes compare to Crocs?
amex 20off100 can make this a sweater deal

I'm not a runner but I walk 5-7 miles per day. I have never worn this brand before as I've been a Brooks devotee for the past ten years or so. I grabbed a pair of Saucony Ride 14s the other week for $35 from another deal featured here. I have to say I'm impressed. They are every bit as comfortable as the Brooks I've worn and I feel like they were a steal for the money.
I'll say this much, the Speed is definitely not as fast as the Pro
BUT the Speed is way more comfortable than the Pro.
I had not used the Speed previously and I thought people were exaggerating since they seem almost like the same shoe but nope, definitely easier for longer training miles.
Does the amex deal count tax as spend? I added a beanie and with tax it comes to $105
Also i don't remember but can you stack CB with amex deals? I know some deals day specifically you have to click through their link, but it doesn't appear to be the case this time.
Endorphin Speed 2 are the best daily running shoes I have used so far. They are not too stiff and not too plush that your feet will sink. I have used them for long runs too no issues at all. They fit amazing. First pair 500 plus miles still barely any wear and tear. Second pair 300 plus already still going strong. Got two pairs of Pro 2 in the prev 40% deal. Wish had waited for this one.
I just received a pair of the shift 2's. They were super stiff and a bit too narrow. I usually wear wides when I can but I figured I'd try them for the price, returning.

You can't fix a shoe that feels narrow but many runners think the Shift take 40-50 miles to break in that stiffness. I've recommended most people buy first pair of Shift at RRS or any place with decent 60-90 day wear ok return policy so you can know if they really work for you. I have plenty of friends who love the Shift but it's my least preferred shoe and I only wear them to get through junk miles to someday give them away.

I am a believer, picked up a pair myself. WOW it is fast, upped my pace by half a min per km in those this morning! I have a pair of Mach 3 (6 months) in current rotation + ASICS Nimbus 23 Lite (1 year, pretty much retired), and the Speed 2 are propelling me forward rapidly.
For those who've purchased from Saucony on the last sale, if you are new customer, they will send a flyer to your mailing address a couple weeks after receiving my initial purchase for 10% off promo and free shipping.
First time ever ordering Saucony (have many Ultraboost 19,20,21 and Nike) and have to say that the Endorphin Pro 2 is the best one yet. I received it yesterday and put it on and felt like I was flying. Cant say much how it will hold for durability so only time will tell. Does anyone have any experience how durable the shoe is? If so, I may have to buy another one. Use the AMEX rewards to bring it down to $80 plus tax.

Never worn these so I don't want to buy and be stuck with them. Nike has the great 60 day returns even if worn

And if the shoes let you run more well you'll be doing those 8 minute miles soon enough anyway
I haven't been in Saucony's since the Kinvaras.

Do you routinely run faster than 8 minute miles?
Yes? Then they are appropriate.
No? They may work against you.
