Endorphin Speed 2 is a nylon plated tempo/racing shoe that I do not see appropriate for standing or expectation of maximum cushioning. It has an aggressive roll profile to promote speed and efficiency with forward motion. They CAN be used for longer distance daily training but shine for faster work/shorter distances. I would not compare this model to adidas UB or Hoka shoes. These are a performance shoe, not a plush cushioned-style shoe. Maybe look at the Triumph 19 or Ride 14/15 should you want more of a daily shoe.
How does these shoes compare to Crocs?

First time ever ordering Saucony (have many Ultraboost 19,20,21 and Nike) and have to say that the Endorphin Pro 2 is the best one yet. I received it yesterday and put it on and felt like I was flying. Cant say much how it will hold for durability so only time will tell. Does anyone have any experience how durable the shoe is? If so, I may have to buy another one. Use the AMEX rewards to bring it down to $80 plus tax.
Most durable of the "super shoes" from each brand. Should hit 300
WARNING: Saucony sent me defective shoes. Inspect what you receive from them. Remove the insoles and make sure the numbers written on the topsole match up with your correct size.
If you have to return Saucony charges $5 restock fee. I ordered two both didn't fit, $10 down the drain
This is a reasonable cost. What bothers me more is that they don't have a "Run and Try" Guarantee return policy. Other companies such as Hoka will give you 60-90 days to run in the shoe risk-free. If you're not satisfied you can return the worn shoe for a refund. Saucony only accepts unworn shoe returns. They must not be very confident in their products and frankly after running and testing out the Guide 14, Guide 15, Hurricane 23, and Endorphin Shift 2 this month I can see why. All of these shoes sucked @ss.
Oh, and look at their Warranty policy. The exclusion list basically makes it worthless. Other brands are more fair with their users.
I just received a pair of the shift 2's. They were super stiff and a bit too narrow. I usually wear wides when I can but I figured I'd try them for the price, returning.
Smart move. Had you taken a chance and run in them Saucony would not refund you. Their return policy only covers unworn shoes which is out of step with industry practice.
I actually did give the the Shift a chance. Ran in and developed pain behind my knee cap which I haven't had in several years. Also gave me arch pain on the 3rd run. The shoe is messed up. Like you said it's too narrow and too firm. Besides that it did not improve my times or help me run further. Fortunately, the retailer I purchased this from will give me a refund or at least a store credit.
