I agree, the stage is not the best if you're going to pay full price. But for $13 I think it's a great deal. Max D monster truck alone is about $10. So you're basically getting everything else for $3. I bought this on the last deal and you're right it didn't last, but my kids enjoyed it while it lasted and they still play with Max D up to this date and some other accessories it came with.
U can get any max d monster truck at target for $5
Not locally to me. I was at target yesterday and they had it for $10. But anyways even at $5, the difference for the rest of the parts is worth it with the discounted price. Like I said before I bought it last time and my kids liked it and played with it for a couple of weeks before I threw away the kinetic sand. Personally I prefer to wait for discounted kits like this instead of buying just the monster truck for $5-$10 by it self, even if the kit just last a couple of weeks.
