Man. Still can't believe I got a factory refurb battery, charger, and backpack blower for $130 at Walmart a few months back.

I have a 530 and wouldn't mumind upgrading but I don't see myself ever buying a bare tool. But these don't seem to go on sale nearly as often as the lower models.

I was waiting for a deal on an ego blower and trimmer. It's $279 for the same blower with a 5ah battery and charger. I'm seeing that battery alone is $249. I'm assuming this is a only deal if you're already in their ecosystem?

Yeah in that case the 5ah battery kit would be best deal.

FYI ... hold out for the backpack version. That 56v is a beast on a blower.

Not much familiar with leaf blowers rather than the CFM and its MPH terms. I assume CFM tells amount of air being blown and MPH would be the speed.

What does 56v mean here and what to look for investing in getting one/brand etc. - most likely a cordless electric one.

Fyi.. i do not have any battery powered tools currently. The lawn mover is a gas one. My back and side yards have lots of full sizes poplar and maple trees.

56V is 56 volts. Most companies either have 20, 40 or 80V, but Ego uses 56. You'll also want to know about AH (amp hours), which is an additional calculation of power. 56V x 2.5AH would equal the power (125). So a 20V with 5 AH has 100 power, while a 56V with 2.5 AH has 125 power.

If you have a decent sized yard, I'd highly recommend going with Ego for your tool brand. If you have a small yard, it doesn't really matter.

Thanks!

This helps comparing specially with the Greenworks deal that is 60V. I guess now it comes to which is more reliable and batteries do not cost arm and leg.

Greenworks Customer service sucks! Horrible means horrible.
Bought a mower from them. But it got some issues - probably with battery. I called their CS a few times; even holding for 40 minutes. One day, I drove from my work to home, calling their CS number. Finally got an agent after 1:35 minutes.
