Ordered May 5th, install May 7th. Got rewards June 7th. (yesterday) I did have to call mid-May because it said disallowed. Was told it was only a glitch, and they fixed it. (so, do keep an eye on it)
My first bill (Internet 300) was $55.26
It said, $0.26 was sales tax. (The $99 install charge was refunded on same bill. Which is the case for most customers)
It was a softcheck on me. From a dormant AT&T account. I'm not even sure they looked at one of the credit bureaus. Seemed more LexisNexis-like and their internal records.

I get offered "Good news! You can get fast, reliable AT&T Internet. Our fastest speed plan available for your home is shown below." "Speeds up to 10Mbps $55/mo. for 12 mos., plus taxes". I chatted and opened a ticket. Chatted back a couple of week later. It was just closed. No contact.
I even have a fiber running from the pole to my house from 20 years ago from what I remember. Only AT&T can make cable seem so nice.
Not sure if this is regional but I'm in San Diego area. If you're going to sign up anyway it's worth stopping by or calling a store to see if there are any incentives available to you.
YMMV and GL!
The confirmation email does not even give the order details, speed, or anything. Give me a link to online. I had ordered an upgrade the day after my install, and that upgrade seems to have erased the original order because something got stuck in the system and they had to manually process my order. The original email link, shows the replacement order and does not mention the rewards.
