Our friends who lives literally across the main street from us have AT&T Fiber, but the service is not available for us. What the hell? Did they just run their fiber up to across the street and say let's screw that whole neighborhood over there? It's literally only about 300ft away.

Used to pay $60 with equipment for 1G line that got increased to $70 a few months back. ATT has been raising price on that.

what a mess, I called and they told me there's only a $200 promo standard for everyone, unless you bundle tv you get $100 extra. No confirmation of anything on promo besides verbal promise that after 30 days of install they'll mail out the promo card. Well, i'll give fiber a try, but if i don't get my promo card I'll be sure to cancel it on principal.

In my case I started a chat and the rep told me that he can combine all rewards cards into one and can place order for me. I didnt proceed yet but this seems like great deal

If you call and complain right when your bill goes up the loyalty department will make your $60 price for life. Very important to talk about unsubscribing and switching to competitor. It may be too late for you now, but hopefully that helps someone else. Customer retention is very important to ISPs. Providing you service is basically free to them. So if you are subscribed to the other guy its almost a 100% profit loss on your monthly fee for them.

Just ordered this 4 days ago (have not received equipment yet, quoted 3-5 days) and self install. I questioned the self install bc 2 years ago they sent a tech to run the line from the box in the alley (gigabit). Total time to install was about 2 hours. Service was rock solid and only dropped for a bit once. Paid 80 per month and price never raised like shitty xfinity. I moved, so ordering again for gigabit at new place, and now its completely self install- which is a win. No brainer especially with the 300 GC (You have to have att mobile plan to qualify for the 3, or else its 200 GC).

Spectrum offering 400mbps for $40/mo for 2yrs, after which it goes up to $95/mo. Most likely in areas it's competing with ATT Fiber. For those that already claimed the ATT reward and don't want to deal with loyalty department for at least 2 yrs.
