Regarding your post about possible future deals, we just need to wait and see.
I used this deal and they only gave me half of the rebates til I called, complained, and showed them the screenshot. They couldn't even give me it all as a rebate and instead credited my account. Not sure why, but I think sometimes deals get approved by one part of the company and they don't bother telling the other departments how to pay them out. Oh well. I got everything I was owed at least.
But I did misspeak in the original post. It was not a rebate but the visa gift cards they promised. No one would even talk to me about it at the place that dispenses the cards, then I spoke to two different departments at AT&T, one of whom said I needed to talk to another department, routed me there, then the second said they had no record of the code I used, but couldn't refute that it definitely had been in the system since it had gone through. So they credited my account that amount. 🤷
Just trying to help some peeps out by saying to get a screenshot, no need to try to diagnose the issue.

I don't know what they will give you, but both of those speeds are compatible with the same equipment. Thus, for example, if a customer is on Fiber 300 and upgrades to Fiber 1000 it's simply a bandwidth shaping push to the CO-side of the equipment. The customer does not need anything different.
If the speed you quote is over WiFi, then it's about right and actually fairly good. If hardwired, something else is wrong.
For me it took one month from installation day to get cards in mail. I had to call once because they denied cards for random reasons. (This 'glitch' seems to be common)
It's great for backing up to a cloud drive. I have 1TB of storage on One Drive. Share 2TB of storage on iCloud.
This promotion ended for AT&T Fiber on June 5, 2022. You must use your access to HBO Max to keep your eligibility for this promotion. If you don't, your HBO Max promotion may be expired.
