Thanks! Having a new bathroom built in my basement. I'm going to do the tile myself now.

Do you think this can cut decorative brick for around a fireplace?

Full thickness brick? Sorry, no. It is only a 7" blade. If it is the 1/2" thick type, yes.

The 7" bidge tile saw [harborfreight.com] is in this weekends parking lot sale for $120. Combined with the 20% coupon, makes it under $100.

The laser line [harborfreightusa.com] is often on sale for $4.

It doesn't appear to come with a stand or blade though.

Depending on your design, you should be able to cut almost all the way through the brick with the saw, then take a brickset (<$20 from the tool aisle) and finish it off with a light tap of the hammer. You won't have a perfectly smooth cut on the one side, but it'll be close.

If you're really careful, you can just flip it over and complete the cut that way - although that's tough depending on your angles.

Definitely a great deal! I shopped through Discover to make the purchase and hopefully, I'll get another 5% off $145.62 after tax which should take care of the tax and bring it back down to the $139 delivered.

I paid about $100 for one of those Home Depot entry level "saw in a box" things and redid my bathroom with it a few months ago.

I'll have this for my next job.... Nice find OP! My back thanks you!
