Prices on these are coming down as they clear out remaining stock. Given that the CX stocks lasted to the end of last year, we will probably see these last until the end of this year. In other words prices on the C1 models will most likely go lower with major sales in July and November.

The Sony A80J OLED and the LG C1 OLED are amazing TVs capable of turning pixels off individually to produce deep inky blacks with a near-infinite contrast ratio. You can't go wrong with either, but they do have some differences. The LG offers a bit more for gamers, with two more HDMI 2.1 ports than the Sony and it has lower input lag. The Sony, however, has better out-of-the-box accuracy, although this can vary from unit to unit.

I personally wouldn't trust a refurb for fear of dead pixels or evidence of burn-in but that's just me. $1200 new for a 65" is my goal. I know these are great for gaming or an Nvidia/AMD video card but how are these for general PC use on a Windows 10 box? One reviewer on YT said don't get it for that. I want to know why.

In regards to motion handling in uhd movies (24p stutter, interpolation, soap opera effect etc) how is the lg c1 vs the Sony a80j? What about "black crush" or loss of dark detail for each? Anyone have experience? Gaming is not a priority but I do have a series x. I would rather get the better screen for movies.

Much appreciated 👍

Have a refurb C9 65 inch OLED. Has been flawless. Got it for $700 less than retail at the time.

Wow, great price! I bought my 65" C1 back on the black Friday deals and all I have seen since then are lower prices on ALL the OLED and QLED TV's....but, I have enjoyed having the TV since October!

I was thinking maybe getting 48 to use as monitor. I happened to be in office and there's 40inch TV and that's the max I think I can use for monitor. 48 is huge if anyone is thinking about using it as a monitor. NO, I think even 40 is even too big.

You can't. The closest is Amazon which has it for $850 but that is also refurbished.
