Does the turn by turn navigation point you back to the orig. route (or re-route) if you make a wrong/ miss a turn? My Bryton doesn't and I hate that....

No, that's a feature on new bolt (color screen)

Is there a light sensor on this? One thing I don't like about my Garmin 130 Plus is that I need to press a button for the backlight to come on, otherwise I can't see the display if I'm riding in the dark.

What can a Wahoo ELEMNT do that my smartphone can't do? Honest question. My phone last at least 8-10 hours, large color screen, waterproof, much faster than a Wahoo, runs any cycling apps and maps, sync to everything, displays my heart rate and cadence from external sensors etc...

Bike computers connect to ANT+ (power meter, cadence, heart rate), doesn't overheat with direct heat, doesn't reflect the sun back to my eyes, screen doesn't shatter when dropped, lights on top indicate my heart rate range, notifies me when there's a car behind me.
If you think you don't need it, you probably don't. For serious cyclists they are a necessity.
