Not the best price (it's been $90 a few times) but it is in stock and I just ordered one. Printers have gotten pricey and I was having trouble finding a reasonably cheap home office laser. Cost per page is low, as compatible toner sells for around $10 each.

Don't give up if you really want this printer and are satisfied with the price. I have seen it show as in-stock and out-of-stock at Walmart.com daily over the past couple of weeks. Save the link to the product. (If searching Walmart.com, number is 274523471.) Be patient and refresh the page periodically until you see $110.00, sold and shipped by Walmart,com, and free shipping. Depending upon how close you live to a Walmart Supercenter, after ordering online you might be able to pick up the same/next day or have it delivered free within a couple of days. The printer comes with a starter toner cartridge (approximately 700 pages).

Brother machines are workhorses. They will run almost forever. Some of the generic toner is crap, but when you find stuff that works well these are super-cheap machines on a per-page basis.

Got it for 80 in Feb, decent entry level laser with duplex printing. Bought a 2 year refurb protection plan for $6, it might be little more for $110 but it's a cheap insurance go for it.

Update : 2 yr all state plan is $8 and 3 yr is $11.

I've had great luck with the Greencycle brand generics, in both Canon and Brother laser printers. Have been using them for years and never got a bad one. They last a really long time too.

Cute username, by the way. Reminds me of the movie "Stepbrothers".

I scored this deal this morning, got the printer home and it's tripped my AFCI outlets every time. I sat on the phone with tech support updating the firmware, then trying "low power" mode. None of it helped. Tripped every single AFCI circuit in my house. There's plenty of headroom on these circuits too. Apparently the initial startup draws a massive in rush of amps for the heating element.

Bummer, bc my old Samsung 2525W was also a laser printer, but it never tripped any AFCI.

I really wanted to like this thing. Especially for $110. Sadly, it's going back to Walmart.
