My wife brought a few home for me a couple of weeks ago when Lowe's made these $14.98 as "New Lower Price" ...and they're horrible!!!

Seriously, I didn't think the Irwin clamps could get worse than what they made over the past several years.

As soon as you hold one in your hand, you'll know what I'm talking about... HF clamps are made stronger. These are as cheaply made as anything I've ever seen... and I'm sorry if you bought any of these.

RIP Irwin... you are missed!
Harbor Freight regular has their 24 inch Trigger Clamp on sale for $15, just look for coupon, that one look more stronger.

Lowes also has it for $14.98. According to lowes regular price is 29. I don't like how Amazon inflates their list price all the time to make you think there's a bigger deal.

Typical price is $25, as low as ~$17 years ago. Good deal. Thanks OP.

I always check CCC and never reward one of their BS sales by making a purchase.

Bought one… been waiting on a deal for a clamp. This is seriously my first clamp. I've been sawing things like an idiot holding it down by my foot / hand lol. Thanks!

Really? That's a shame. Maybe you got a bad batch? I'll take a gamble and try these. Fingers crossed.

I got a set of husky ones a few years back that are solid. I can crank way down and they are super tight.

Amazon also has a deal on the 6" pair. I got that as well. These tiny ones come in handy for simple things like clamping a spacer to my table saw fence

Maybe someone can enlighten me but I don't see the need for such a large quick trigger clamp. Typically when I use these clamps it's for an extra hand to hold something in place or clamping a work piece to the table for a cut. So for those examples I use the 6 inch or 12 inch. Any glue ups I use bar or parallel clamps. I can't think of any need for such a large quick trigger but like I said please correct me if I'm wrong.

I notice these are Irwins "MEDIUM" duty clamps. I have a couple of their 12in "HEAVY" duty clamps. Am I going to be disappointed in these?

I agree. I've broken new cheap Irwins enough I don't buy them anymore. The last one broke with almost no pressure. Irwin does make a heavy duty version that is better but costs a lot more. Jorgensen are more expensive than the cheap Irwins but by far they are my favorite quick clamps. Menards used to carry them and offered great deals on them. Now I wish I had bought more back then. As for these, super light duty only. I'll pass because of my experience with them breaking but hopefully buyers have better luck than I did.
