Honest question: what is up with all the flashlight, lantern deals? Was there a huge demand for them in the pandemic, and now there's a glut from overproduction? Or, maybe shipments that were stuck on cargo ships, in the backlog at ports, that were months delayed, and now they need to clear them out before the camping/hurricane season is out?

No mention of included rechargeable battery, also shows it includes 4 AA batteries but only needs 3 AA batteries to operate. No mention of charge port configuration, so assuming the dreaded Micro-USB.

I do not think the 18650 is included.

Maybe there's a built in rechargeable battery, or alternatively, you could use the AAAs.
Otherwise can't see what would be "hybrid" about it.

ETA: The description and details mention it comes with 4 AAs and uses 3 AAAs.

If you visit SD daily, they often are on sale regularly. Energizer has been featured a lot since they appear to be clearing old stock / older models. If there's anything I would rather see on clearance because of the pandemic, it's emergency radios and generators. I think all of us have drawer full of flashlights and laterns by now... or at least I do.

I'm on here all the time. I know LED flashlights, headlamps, lanterns are frequently posted, but there has been an extraordinarily high number of deals (like energizer, everready, 50% off) in the last few weeks.

Yes, I have endless flashlights, lanterns, work lights, from SD. I'm well over 40 at this point, across all categories. lol

Can anybody confirm that this either has a removable or built in 18650 battery? I'm probably going to buy to check it out anyway but I don't have a source of reliable, well priced 18650s yet so if one came with it, it would be a much better deal for me and most others I assume. Thanks OP!
