Personally I'd discourage black unless you have existing pricey black hardware to match. It looks very ugly on the inside; also the sun heats it up to the point of being hot to touch, and that can't be good for anything that's inside the box.

The one you are looking at is a refurbished one.
If you have two devices that are doing that it might be your finger print is continuously changing.
I have an old Apple iPhone that had finger print detection to unlock and that worked much more reliably. Although I did have to rerecognize after 3 months..,but that worked much better than this finger print scanner which didn't last 3 days.
Maybe a good time to start a thievery business?
