I've had this cooler since 2018 and its been great! We originally bought it on Amazon over Walmart, but it came in a Walmart Box. We have used it on many camping/outdoor trips since then. Biggest test was on a hot 4 day canoe camping trip. We had 1 ice refill ordered between those days. Our group had all kinds of expensive coolers there ranging from Yeti, coleman, rtic, etc. This cooler held ice on par, if not better than alot of the other coolers.

just picked up the 65quart cooler from amazon for $140. should arrive this week. im pretty excited to see what this new world of mega coolers has to offer. lol. we do a lot of camping... plus monthly trips to our off grid cabin... thinking this will give us a lot more freedom and keep us from buying ice as often.

Picked up the 77 for $168 last summer for a road-trip from PA to TX. Put like 4-5 1/2 gallon frozen milk jugs, a couple of those blue bricks, and maybe 10lb of bag ice. The rest of the cooler was filled up with drinks and food. I still had partially frozen milk jugs at the end of 5 days in the back of a black Equinox in 80-105 degree heat, and it was opened several times a day. The 55 will give less ice retention than the 77, but the point is that this cooler really works. I did a lot of research on top-tier coolers before I purchased mine, and it is hard to beat in the "best bang for your buck" category.

I particularly like the "locking" handles more than most of the other brands as well.

These are solid. I've had one for a few years and ice lasts several days. Got a new Yeti over the holidays that I plan to take out and compare it to.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing. If you have a small milk jug or small laundry detergent jug, clean it out then freeze water in it (only fill it about 2/3 full) and use that for your ice. So much easier than bagged ice! And you can keep using it.

So long as you properly prepare and pack the cooler it's pretty solid. If you start with a warm cooler, use ice to chill things, and open it constantly you'll be refilling it with ice regularly. Of course that the same with every cooler. This one is pretty good for the money, though.

Bought 3 on clearance years ago for $20 each. Very good at keeping stuff cold. However, very heavy, especially when full, and no wheels are included. Also, I find the rope handles awkward and annoying. I do like the latches however. At $120, I would try to find something easier to transport.

I still think it's expensive. Coolers are way overpriced. We saw these a while back along with igloo bmx 52 all under 100. The yeti just ruined the market for consumers.

I hope Black Friday brings some deals on this one bc I like the cooler and company
