Oatmilk has a ton more calories, which is a real detractor for many that want a milk substitute.

The refrigerated 64 oz Silk products usually go on sale every other week for $2.99 so that's a better option for me but if you want something shelf-stable, then the prices are comparable.

You should find something other than Almond milk though. I do this too btw.

Almonds are primarily grown in California and require A SHIT TON of Water. I'm sure you can make the conflict connection there.

Oatmilk would be the best substitute, I use Cashew Milk personally (which isn't a whole lot better than almond).
Where do you get your cashew milk? I've looked for it at stores but haven't see any on the shelves.

I get it at Walmart in Illinois. The Silk Cashew is in a yellowish brown container.

I've always bought the refrigerated kind, never the "shelf stable" ones before… are there any difference in ingredient/nutrients that I should be aware of on these? TIA!!

It does have a ton of calories but it tastes soooo good. It also froths really well if you're making espresso.
