If you still have the cardboard box, its the fourth letter after the period on the model number. If the first letter is a P or a W you have an EVO panel.

Another way is to go to you tube and look up "100% White Fullscreen". Its an EVO if the image is slightly pink
Also uses about 10watt less

I am looking at the box of the 65" A80J I just had delivered from Best Buy on Wednesday, and I can't find a place on any of the white labels where it says XR65A80J with any numbers or letters after it.

Do you have any more detail you can provide?
My bad. The box model number method only works on a LG C1 purchase, not Sony.

Anyone have experience price matching at Best Buy if this price changes before Best Buy customer service folks are back online?

How can one tell?
Easy.... to tell the difference between WBC and WBE panels is by measuring their spectral density using a spectroradiometer.
The WBE panels are characterized by a narrower blue half-width and clearer separation between the Red and Green spectrum. Peace

In for 1. Thanks

Should be a decent upgrade to my 65x900h.

Thanks. My TV was manufactured in March 2022, and doesn't seem to have any dead or stuck pixels, so I'm happy with it. I'm chatting with Best Buy right now to see if they'll do a price adjustment.

Cheaper than Verde! I've ordered a few TV's through Amazon in the past, and the returns were as easy as can be.

I know they've done Sony OLED's on Prime Day in the past (I think 2019 and 2020) but did they do one last year??

I was close to buy it but I'm scared of burn in plus the insurance that Amazon is offering doesn't even cover burn in unfortunately. I'm going wait to see if the Samsung Qn90a deal comes back.

What is the important difference between the two? Which is better?

What day/date is usually Prime day?

I saw a display model on sale at Costco for $1200 plus taxes
Try and get the remote and then go to settings to see how many hours have been accumulated already and then decide if you want to buy it.

These will be super cheap in 10 years.
yep and easy to find on craigslist. :-)

Ya this is slick as hell - I'm just waiting on the 77 to hit around $2k online
We think alike. I have the 65" LG CX already and need a 77" at least.

So they did do one last year! Surprised it was that expensive, tbh. Maybe this TV will be a Prime Day deal, though I don't see it being much, if any, cheaper than this
