These were also posted yesterday. I just got them from Amazon. They're probably fake. The bag DO NOT have anti-fake sticker. The material is rougher and more see through than Bonafide and Office depot version. The nose metal is thinner and ear loop connector part is weaker and different shape than others. The certificate mentioned non-medical while neither Office Depot and Bonafide version mentions that. These were "made" to the 2006 standard and manufacture date shows 2/5/2020. Office depot ones shows manufacture date 2/6/2020 and it has an Anti-fake sticker.

Actually all make sense now. These are most likely not fake. These are old stock. The anti-fake stickers were implemented in May 2020. If any powecom with production date prior to 2020/5 have anti-fake sticker, then those are definitely fake.

I don't know with so many discrepancies I don't know if I would trust my life on it. Why would the material be so different in 1 month? Plus anyone can make a paper certificate for it to be "old stock".

Of the 5 bags that I got, this is what I received.
  • 2019 standard Aug. 2021
  • 2019 standard Jan. 2022
  • 2006 standard May 15, 2020 with anti-fake sticker
  • 2006 standard May 2, 2020 without anti-fake sticker
  • 2006 standard, Amazon generic clear plastic bag, no pass certificate, so no way to determine date of manufacture and whether they're expired. They're also designed unlike any Powecom mask I've seen in that they're heat stamped with KN95 near both sides of the ear loops. I got a refund for this bag, because even if they're genuine, they may very well be expired and it's completely unacceptable to sell PPE without OEM packaging.

Wow that's pretty odd. All 5 are different. Good to know 4 are confirmed good.

I saw the thread yesterday and ordered. Figured it was worth a shot. I've been ordering the Powecom masks from Bonafide for a while so I had plenty to compare. The Amazon masks are totally fake. The sticker seal is supposed to have a scratch-off coating (like a lottery ticket) to reveal the serial number. These fakes have a copycat sticker with no coating. They are probably hoping nobody notices but it's pretty blatant. AZ will automatically refund if you report as counterfeit.

Early 2020 was a very chaotic time if you recall. The mask manufacturers were doing the best they can coping with surging demand. Without inspecting in person, I can't say with certainty but there is a logical explanation for what you described.

I can also understand why you don't trust the product.

I've ordered 3M aura N95 from Prime instead with more infectious strains out there. I have plenty of these Powecom in reserve for lawncare and pollen, the latest were improved. Powecom had issue recently with supply chain and got some flak for overselling and delay in shipping out orders.

It's not clear from your post if the counterfeit code checks out or not.

I bought three yesterday when I saw this deal posted. I was somewhat skeptical because of the price. However they arrive today they all look and feel exactly like my existing powecom masks. All three had anti fake stickers, and when I checked them out on the powe.com website; all of them are genuine. So I put in for two more; great price.

The only place to get real Powecoms is now bonafidemasks.com. Nowhere else, these are all fake. They struck a deal and are the exclusive sellers of them in the US and Canada now.

You have no clue what you are talking about (or you work for bonafide to defame legitimate competitors)

bonafide wants everyone to think all other powecom on the market are fake so they get to make their 10x margin.

They have a commercial agreement with powecom. If you actually read it, which I don't think you did, it doesn't say that powecom can't sell their legitimate product to anyone else. If other resellers can buy legitimate products from powecom, we can buy legitimate powecom from these resellers, very simple.

It's a show piece. It's as legal as I tell you that my masks are the best in the world.

Who's enforcing that "exclusive"? Definitely not the US government and clearly not Amazon. It's a commercial agreement /advertisement to get people who want to believe in it. Like many here.
