So what exactly are you gaining in the S8 for this $130 other than "newer model" and "more updates"? Any there any real tangible features that really justify the upgrade?

Can't speak for S8+ but I went from S7 to S8, if you put a gun to my head I would not be able to tell you the difference visually and from using it. Main benefit of upgrading it is future proofing it and to have the latest device to trade in for their next year's devices lol

You dont need to send in spen for tablet trade in.
In fact, you only to send the tablet itself. No charger, spen, etc.
I traded in s3, s4, and s6. All of them without spen and it went through without a single issue.

This deal has been around for a few days. It is not worth to trade in S7 for S8 unless you are going for S8+ or Ultra for a larger screen. For S8+, it is $279. For Ultra, it is $449 plus a $200 Samsung credit which may make it a better deal than S8+.

A faster processor, i guess. I did it bc it was also 130 to upgrade during the pre order period and it came with a free keyboard.
