I played this game recently. Personally had a hard time with it. Not very clear where you're supposed to go and what you're supposed to do. Also didn't help that enemies respawns. The gameplay itself was fun though.
New to Nintendo games, do we need to have monthly payments of $5 to play these games after we purchase them online or just purchasing is enough to play offline at home? Thanks
Which game in the series would you recommend starting with? I love Metroidvanias, but have never played the series.
I started with Pirate's Curse because it was available via XBL Gold, but you might want to play chronologically: Shantae, Risky's Revenge, Pirate's Curse, Half Genie Hero.
It's not imperative to play them in order since they're not sprawling RPGs where you could lose major parts of the story without context, but there are references to events in prior entries; plus you get to see how the series has changed over time.
If you like the original Paper Mario and Thousand Year Door Bug Fables is a must buy. Great game that really fills that Paper Mario itch. This is a great price for Bug Fables as well
