Wow, that's an incredible price! We love our robot vacuum. The tab that locks the dustbin in place broke on ours awhile back, and because the dustbin was backordered, they just replaced the entire vacuum. 😳 Vacuum sometimes has weird pathfinding around obstacles. The map sometimes gets messed up, but we resolve it by just picking the unit up and putting it back on the charger, and it corrects itself. 99% of the time, we send it out to vacuum, forget about it completely, and come back to clean floors! We have mostly wood floors, but previously had carpet, and it's done great on both, in our experience.

Just felt like posting because we really like ours, so call me a Robot Vacuum evangelist, I guess. lol

I wouldn't touch this. I wanted to buy this around Black Friday but stumbled upon this thread.

It's an ongoing issue that wyze won't address.

Brief: It damages walls and carpets, misses all of the perimeters, and is yet one more needy device in your home. It gets stuck all the time and mis-docks and runs dead. It's very buggy.

In that post it says It damages baseboards, scuffs walls and furniture but the last pic they mention it doesn't come within 3 to 4" of walls and furniture. Scratching my head on that review.

Anybody upgrade to these from the cheaper "bounce around" Eufy vacuums? I have two of the Eufy ones but they often get stuck and make a ton of noise trying to correct itself. Thanks in advance !
I literally did this. I liked the Eufy because it was so slim, it got under my couches etc. This Wyze robot (I've had it for over a year) is to afraid to go under the couch even though it will fit. It is a little quirky sometimes.. for example we went out of town for a week and it decided to take the week off as well. It gets stuck under our table sometimes. It can get in but cant find it's way out. Overall though it's worth it especially at this price point. The virtual walls work great. The scheduling in the app works great as well. It's amazing how much crap it picks up.

Yes if you want it to turn on automatically. Otherwise you'd have to hit the button on top ti turn it on.

Yes, i picked up two Eufy 25C from a SD post for ~100$ each and then subsequently bought this when it first came out for ~200$ (some introductory deal). I was happy with the cleaning that the 25C provided, but the difference between this (with Lidar) and the Eufy are night and day. Not necessarily in cleaning performance, but the Wyze is so much more satisfying to watch do its job. The wyze takes a very deliberate and efficient approach whereas the Eufy truly just bounces around. It's confounding that the Eufy works at all, but it does. Honestly the end result between the two is about the same, but watching the Eufy now is excruciating. For this price though, it's a fantastic deal. I also have a lot of other wyze stuff, so it's nice to have everything managed in one app. The mechanism for opening the dustbin still confuses me every single time I empty it, but it's held up to my fumbling through it for the past year or so. Highly recommend at this price

This has not been my experience. I'm amazed at how well it judges the distance between itself and baseboards to avoid scraping them at all.

I have 3 of these for different levels in the house and it is pretty good. The mapping is accurate and you can edit the maps rather easily - manage rooms etc.

Thought of returning my s5 max and pull the trigger on this, but looking at the horrible hard wood marks pictures I backed off!
