Wow, that's an incredible price! We love our robot vacuum. The tab that locks the dustbin in place broke on ours awhile back, and because the dustbin was backordered, they just replaced the entire vacuum. 😳 Vacuum sometimes has weird pathfinding around obstacles. The map sometimes gets messed up, but we resolve it by just picking the unit up and putting it back on the charger, and it corrects itself. 99% of the time, we send it out to vacuum, forget about it completely, and come back to clean floors! We have mostly wood floors, but previously had carpet, and it's done great on both, in our experience.

Just felt like posting because we really like ours, so call me a Robot Vacuum evangelist, I guess. lol

I wouldn't touch this. I wanted to buy this around Black Friday but stumbled upon this thread.

https://forums.wyzecam.com/t/robo.../183918/19

It's an ongoing issue that wyze won't address.

Had this for 2 days. Its trash I am sorry yall. My house has too many obstacles for this to work properly. Mapping is way off as well. When it gets caught under a chair it RAMS the chair with full force. Will exchange for a another one.

A easy workaround would be to insert a piece of plastic next to the charging base . They give this plastic with the Roborock vacumms but you can easily make one on your own. I had a Wyze vacuum before and I was extremely happy with it . Battery life is short but for the price it was worth it.
no issues of the burning mentioned in other posts?

I'm just gonna put a mat down at the charging dock.
Would that be an actual solve though? or would it still cause issues when leaving the mat?

I bought a clear place mat to put under the dock. I don't care if it marks the mat, just as long as it doesn't mark the floor.

Sounds like most if not all robot vacuums will be a problem for your home's current configuration.

This is a great vacuum even at the $200 I paid for it.

My only minor complaint is that the announcements like 'starting cleaning' are very loud and cannot be turned off. The feature exists in the beta app, but the main branch app hasn't been updated in months.

We had this for about 6 months. It was AMAZING. Cleans up after little monsters that run sand through our house all summer. My only issue was it started to mess up our hardwood floors and we couldn't remove the stains? Burns? Not sure, but it didn't go away. Support wasn't helpful. Now we love our roomba! Just FYI before buying. The unit did still work but the floor is too expensive for a potentially malfunctioning product.
