Wow, that's an incredible price! We love our robot vacuum. The tab that locks the dustbin in place broke on ours awhile back, and because the dustbin was backordered, they just replaced the entire vacuum. 😳 Vacuum sometimes has weird pathfinding around obstacles. The map sometimes gets messed up, but we resolve it by just picking the unit up and putting it back on the charger, and it corrects itself. 99% of the time, we send it out to vacuum, forget about it completely, and come back to clean floors! We have mostly wood floors, but previously had carpet, and it's done great on both, in our experience.

Just felt like posting because we really like ours, so call me a Robot Vacuum evangelist, I guess. lol

I wouldn't touch this. I wanted to buy this around Black Friday but stumbled upon this thread.

https://forums.wyzecam.com/t/robo.../183918/19

It's an ongoing issue that wyze won't address.

Did you update the app? If you're using the beta version you might not see it. Need to use the regular version.
Just using the one available on the App Store for iPhone. How do I know if it's the regular or beta version?

Everything says up to date.

I bought one and have had it for about a week. Working great so far in my hardwood apartment. It has been effective picking up hair and dirt tracked by my dogs.

Can someone confirm if this is one of those 120v-220v switching power supplies? It should be on the adapter.

Are the tire marks/stains only around the dock area? Or is there a chance for it happen randomly elsewhere? If it is around the dock only I am willing to take a chance as we could put a placemat or chairmat to safeguard the floors.

If you didn't opt into the beta, then you have the regular app. You can tell by going to settings, about app. I'm on android and the mutli-level option is there for me. Maybe they didn't update it for iphone.

Reports says that if it gets stuck somewhere, it uses full power to try to unstuck itself. So it might leave marks were it was stuck at. I'm using it on hard wood floors only so I don't think I'll get stuck anywhere.

Few days of using this and it's been really good so far. Been using it on LVT and carpet and no marks from wheels yet. I even put down tape under the wheels where it's docked and no marks on tape so far.

I do not have multi level mapping on my Android app tho and I've looked everywhere. Do i need to map another floor to get it to show?

Great cleaner/lines but I'm done after self disposing, game changer.
I considered this too. But then I thought of having another proprietary part to worry about replacing so went with the Wyze. I had older bots and wasn't really bothered having to clean them out once in awhile. I'll purchase one with self-cleaning bin whenever those bags are no longer proprietary and I can just use regular trashbags or grocery bags in the bin.

Honestly, bags on my ihome were $20 for 6 back and I'm still on original 1 of 2 four months in, they really last. Also The bagless shark IQ (rv750) is currently 70 off at Costco and i caught one clearanced out so net $150.

I still utilize wyze upstairs but it's messy to dump & tend to forget until it's spitting out lint mulch so will be gone soon laugh out loud

FWIW, Wyze simply takes cheap Chinese products (found on aliexpress, etc) and slaps their name on them. Cameras, vacuums, sprinklers, lights, door lock, smart this, smart that...they simply brand and re-sell currently available "smart" items. The strategy obviously works since 99% of people would never pay that close attention, but when things go wrong, they are really at the mercy of the generic factory that makes generic things like this vacuum. They don't have ownership over the engineering and development process, so they can't just "fix the wheels." Unless the OEM company cares, or Wyze begins designing, engineering, and building these devices, you are basically SOL.

That said, I'm not necessarily opposed to this since we love our cheap stuff, but I'm on the fence about buying this vacuum. LIDAR and the price are certainly attractive, but ruining my floors? That's a no-go.

Edit: if you use the code WOWFRESH it will work. Be sure to remove the extra space after pasting (after the H). Simply pasting won't work since there is a space after the H.

True story bro. I've known this but accepted it because while Wyze doesn't make the product, they made the software. And since I have multiple Wyze cams already, one deciding factor for me was that this vacuum would be in the Wyze app. I don't want 20 different smart home apps on my phone.

Alos, that code only works for pick up at the store and only valid once.
