Wow, that's an incredible price! We love our robot vacuum. The tab that locks the dustbin in place broke on ours awhile back, and because the dustbin was backordered, they just replaced the entire vacuum. 😳 Vacuum sometimes has weird pathfinding around obstacles. The map sometimes gets messed up, but we resolve it by just picking the unit up and putting it back on the charger, and it corrects itself. 99% of the time, we send it out to vacuum, forget about it completely, and come back to clean floors! We have mostly wood floors, but previously had carpet, and it's done great on both, in our experience.

Just felt like posting because we really like ours, so call me a Robot Vacuum evangelist, I guess. lol

I wouldn't touch this. I wanted to buy this around Black Friday but stumbled upon this thread.

It's an ongoing issue that wyze won't address.

Anybody upgrade to these from the cheaper "bounce around" Eufy vacuums? I have two of the Eufy ones but they often get stuck and make a ton of noise trying to correct itself. Thanks in advance !
The ones with mapping are way better. A huge upgrade.

I purchased the Wyze vacuum from this deal and can confirm it has a spot cleaning feature.

Upgraded from a 3-4 year old Shark Robot vacuum, that I had to fuss with the "bot boundary strips" and other issues. The lidar is great, and the "no go zones" work so much easier than the clunky strips. Totally recommend this from the 2 days of use so far.

Did you update the app? If you're using the beta version you might not see it. Need to use the regular version.
Hi,

I am on the regular Wyze App(not Beta) and using the ios version. However, I dont see the multi-level option at all. I do have the "Reset Map" option which I think deletes the map altogether.

Can you pls guide us where you see the "Multi-level" feature in the Wyze App? I saw your earlier post of 3 dots on the right(of the Map) screen, however, all I have is a gear wheel. I have "Quick Mapping", No Go zones, etc but not the multi-level mapping features.

Thanks

For what it's worth, I've had mine in the same place for 1.5 years on a Pergo floor with no marks at all. Maybe it's the floor type? The photo in the link looks like the vinyl planking I have in my upstairs. I can only comment on my lower floor tho since it doesn't walk up the steps Wink

Doesn't matter what your floor is made of, the unit shouldn't be leeching anything.

Can you imagine if a child or pet started chewing on them or it drove over places they frequent?

It doesn't help that Wyze doesn't actually design or test any of their products. They're all rebrands you can find on AliExpress cheaper.

I don't disagree, but I've had nothing but fantastic results from the Vacuum and Wyze. Just throwing it out there for the community

I got one too. Love it. Only downsides are the onboard dust bin is a little small, brush clogs up with long hair fairly quickly, and it eats any sort of cord or string on the ground and gets stuck but I bet they all have those downsides (except self emptying models). HUGE upgrade over a roomba I tried a couple years ago. That one could not go over the very short bumps between my rooms. This one gets around very well. The mapping capability, "no-go" zones, room editing, spot cleaning, and software in general are all 10/10

Check out my screenshots. This is what I see on my Wyze app. I'm on android with latest official app. To the right you'll see 3 icons. The 1st one is for multi-floor mapping. There you can add another floor. I don't know if the iOS app has this.

Is this better than the Neato Botvac D6 deal I got for $200 from Lowes? What's the difference between this and the Neato D6?

I got this a couple of weeks ago when the deal was first posted. Upgraded to this from my Roomba 510, which served us well for 9 years. I love the mapping and no-go zones, so much better than invisible walls and having to "roomba-proof" all the time. Now I can let the robot run on a schedule without needing to remember to put up the bathroom mats, since those are now no-go zones. I have it do half of the house on alternating days, and after my wife blow dries I can ask it to come into the bathroom to clean up the hairs. It also bangs into items way less than Roomba did. For the price, I'm very impressed.
