Seriously, really...no one thinks anymore on this site.

Buy the teamgroup on Amazon.

Fails after 10 months.

Buy another on Amazon, return the failed one.

That is the warranty. There is no serial number on the teamgroup box.

Teamgroup gets their broken item back. You get a new one. Win Win. And you continue to buy stuff from Amazon.

Fair is Fair.

It is a 37 dollar SSD drive and not a 2000 dollar laptop. You spend more more on GAS.
I think if they're selling stuff in the USA they should have representation here including place to accept RMAs and then process them to whenever they want to send them to get fixed.
For some reason reputable companies have no problem doing so but if you like to pay 2-3x more for shipping than what you already paid for item, wait for months for it to get processed and returned to you and then cross your fingers that it doesn't fail again in a month or so then props to you and good luck, I just choose Samsung and WD for my needs instead and considering the price difference vs quality of support it makes it much more sense to me.
What you are suggesting is called "fraud"

Any suggestions for a smaller and cheaper SSD? I just need one that is 240gb for a non-important drive.
If you're near a microcenter you can get an inland ssd for free, they usually have a coupon for new subscribers every month or so.

Almost no one ships Amazon returns through the US post office.

Good deal for basic 512gb but in case the drive goes downhill and you are out of Amazon return window, one review said to prepare to ship out of country and wait for rma, so factor that in.
Buy it again and return the faulty one.

Whereas others would say it's the free market at work.
Fraud is not part of a functioning free market because it undermines the requirement of a free market for voluntary participation. Put another way, it requires informed consent.

It's the same with coercion--you can't call a market a free market if any of the participants are being forced to participate.

With fraud or coercion present, it may be a market, but it's not a free market. Otherwise, we could say that if you go and buy some pot and it's laced with fentanyl that you didn't know about and that kills you, that's just the free market at work, and you got what you paid for and everything you deserved...

I've been upgrading systems in my fleet to a mixture of WD Blue and Teamgroup EX SSDs. 65ish WDs and 35ish Teamgroups. I've been happy with the Teamgroups so far... no failures yet, 2 for the WD drives though. Only weird issue I've encountered is one model of Dell Latitude won't fully recognize the drives, almost like one of the connectors on the SSD cable doesn't contact the drive quite right. Other than that weirdness they've been good drives for the price in my experience.

Who really cares for a large Corporation that's going around fing people with shit products, making you pay more for the replacement. This should be illegal you have no warranty if the cost is more then the product. Shady marketing, not in my country!

That was not initially my point, but now it is: what taxes? what companies? Are you saying ADATA is not paying taxes? based on what, do you have access to their accounting books? do you know something we don't know? what do you even know about taxation? have you ever filed tax return in your life? So far it seems to me you are making up stuff to justify being a petty criminal.

FBI busy with other "stuff" these days, & they tend to lose the evidence easily.
