I replaced all my floors with wood. Wow that is a must have. This is a dream to use. It's so easy to get around anything. It cuts my time by half compared to V10 with fluffy head.

The fluffy head is about 20% larger than the head on the omni glide. Also the V10 has about 570% more suction power than the omni-head. If you are finishing in half the time, you clearly are not getting nearly as good of a cleaning done.

No, I have v10 and this pos, v10 is way better on picking up dirts. This Omni-glide has absolutely abysmal suction power. Returned and it won't shock me if this piece of garbage goes on sale for $99 soon
Fwiw this does not work at all on carpet, it actually shuts down instantly if it's used on anything but hard floors.
It just means it needs to charge, my daughter thought the same thing. PLUS you need to use the smaller brush for carpet, wow, amazing the amount of dirt it picks up. On higher speed battery goes down faster.

I mean I understand if it is carpet, but do you really need THAT much suction if you just wanna vacuum and then mop wooden floor? From the reviews I saw, this seems to be the most convenient type for vacuuming for hard floors. I do really think for regular cleaning of hard floor, pushing the dirt in the suction tube is more convenient than sucking out dirt with raw power (and if your are gonna use fluffy head, this has more surface area and is lot more versatile). But that is just my understanding.

More suction power simply means you can go faster and still pick up everything. I agree the caster design makes it far more convenient. I am only saying that his claim of getting it done is half the time smells of BS with a smaller head and less power. You would have to be moving the head at nearly 3x the speed to get it done twice as fast with a smaller head. Moving that fast with less power, means you are most likely not picking everything up.
It is more convenient and easier to maneuver though.
Haven't tried this but had one dyson cordless motor literally burn up and just had to replace the battery on our v8, maybe a year out of warranty. Kept up on all filter maintenance. Big props for convenience but thought some fair warning on my experiences with their cordless offerings.

It has a double fluffy roller so more suction isn't needed. I have a v10 rarely use the max suction…it's too much suction. Only time I use max suction on the V10 is with an attachment where I can't get the tool between the cracks. Maybe that person have a bunch of chairs and coffee table legs that makes vacuuming between objects faster with a smaller roller?
