It is "commercially compostable" and has to be composted in a proper facility and under the right conditions. Meaning, you can't just toss it in the trash and expect the landfill to break it down.

I have a Keurig K Supreme and these definitely aren't compatible. They end up creating a mess and I get specks of coffee ground in my cup. I think these were not designed to work with the newer Keurig models that have the multiple prongs / needles like the Supreme model does.
