Of course, as correctly highlighted by some in this thread, the proprietary nature of the motherboard and power supply is likely irrelevant for most users seeking a sealed productivity box that could likely serve the target user well for years. Intel i-series 4-Core CPUs have proven to be solid long term productivity systems. Past performance is no indicator of future results, but other than a possible RAM upgrade in the future there's very little beyond underlying reliability that should worry the appropriate user about this PC for at least the life cycle of Windows 11 (and consider that when Windows 10 support closes in 2025 it will have lasted a decade).
Although the motherboard form factor is proprietary (with the front USB ports being integrated onto the motherboard), you could likely move this system into a cheap, roomier case if, for example, you wanted to expand storage (setting up a small server, for example). I've attached an image of a comparable Acer motherboard for visual reference.
Even as a sealed box these Acer small form factor deals have been about the most compelling price/performance desktop deals in some time.

I imagine this is pretty much the same exact PC except with the i3 and a smaller NVMe drive. And given the price difference, the i3 is likely the better value.
As was mentioned, the fan can be loud when under high load.
The PSU is proprietary, so any GPU upgrade will need to be powered off of the PCIe bus. I went with a Radeon RX560 as it was cheap, although I did have to remove the mounting plate in order to fit it in the compact case. Do note that adding a discrete GPU will force disable the integrated Intel HD730 and Acer does not allow enabling the iGPU in the BIOS.
I added another 8GB stick of RAM, as mine came with 1 8GB stick and an unused second slot.
The NVMe drive it shipped with is fast for this price point. You can add an additional SATA drive, but if you want to mount it properly without disconnecting the DVD drive, you will need a lengthy SATA cable and a Y adapter for the power cable. I threw in an old 500GB HDD from an old laptop I upgraded to an SSD years ago for rarely accessed data.
There is also one PCIe x1 expansion slot, which I used to mount a dirt cheap Intel Optane drive for use as a dedicated swap file. If you want to spend more, you could mount any NVMe drive. Just be aware the throughput is (IIRC) only 1 GB/second, so you will be limited with respect to speeds. Alternatively, you could use the PCIe x1 expansion slot to add additional USB ports if you find the 8 it comes with limiting.
Overall, a great option if you are looking for a compact Windows 10/11 desktop.

Of course the i5 11th gen will be better than i3 10th gen spec wise, but, if you can compare them and give us your review comparision, that would be nice.

Though the 11th generation CPU will undoubtedly provide better benchmark performance, both of these CPUs are real powerhouses. Contrast this with the low-end Atom-based laptops that pop up on slickdeals regularly and which are typically stressed just to boot Windows. Expectations don't have to be set miserably low for these PC's CPU performance. Rather, the real challenge with these systems is long-term maintenance and support options. Those aren't a factor, perhaps especially at this low price? Then jump on in.

It wouldn't cost a ton to get the specs up just a bit more. Another 8GBs of ram, and an RX 6400 would make a crazy difference.
Sure the PSU isn't great, but the heart of this mini desktop is solid.
