Haier is GE. They have owned GE(2019) as well as Fisher & Paykel (2012)for years. I believe their US fridges are made in Camden, South Carolina. I can't comment on price or ease of obtaining replacement parts since I haven't bought any. The Haier fridge we owned in HK worked without issue. Our Costco purchase (to replace our problematic Samsung) arrived this morning and was installed by GE delivery.
But thanks for the feedback. I was seriously considering it.
