After 2 weeks of research I decided this was the laptop I wanted. Most more current laptops at this $650 price point are running a much lower powered 3050 card. (comparison here [userbenchmark.com]). There are some pretty solid deals for laptops in the $800-$1000 range with a 3060 or even 3070 card, but most of those laptops are pretty heavy.
Overall this laptop seems to be a great combination of price, size (under .85 inches, barely over 4 lbs), battery size, and processing power. You likely want to add another $30 stick of ram and possibly a larger ssd.
