I hear you. Walmart calls this a building set, yet the box itself says "Lego City Stuntz Gift Set." Probably 'gift set' is a more accurate descriptor. In any event, it's much cheaper to buy this set than the individual racers.

I can see why initially this looks over priced. But it's fly wheel and comes with a case. So it's borderline ok price.

We purchased these last week. Didn't realize they were flywheel, and that makes this deal much better. Our son really loves changing out the characters, setting up obstacles, and launching them. The flywheel is pretty powerful and the bike stays upright even after running into stuff. Definitely worth the sale price after including the carry case.
