I've got a deal right now for $50 service and then $30 discount with Xfinity mobile. The internet then comes out to $20 / month.
But that doesn't count the cost of the xfinity mobile which for me is running $18 w/ tax.
So really its $38/mo for internet + mobile.

OR There is also $30 discount taht some can get if they're lower income or qualify for aid, so that could get people down to $20/mo with a $50 service deal. Thats not my situation but those discounts exist too so that can explain someone paying $20/mo

I'm only Gold (BOGO not 2 free) also, even though I've been with Xfinity for DECADES. All that switching back and forth to get the new customer promo deal (when you could) reset me every other year.
FWIW we had been customers at a previous address and rewards didn't recognize it as previous service. I filled something out reporting an issue with my rewards tier and 30 seconds later I got an email saying we were platinum. If you know your real start date with Xfinity, it might be worth a shot.

Go to the xfinity rewards page, at the bottom of the page it has a button for questions about your rewards tier, a popup opens and click on FAQ button and then click on the link to report issue with your rewards tier and fill out the info.

this is with mobile you get a $30 discount that was a deal at least 3 months ago when I signed up. Its Actually $50/month for 24 months with $30/month discount each month but then $15 extra for one mobile line so its about $35 total each month and a buck or so in tax

Thanks, my previous addresses were not recognized as well. I could move to Platinum status from Silver within seconds of updating all my old addresses with Xfinity. Helped me get free Minion tickets, rather than the BOGO.
