No, they're not, but the cat lobbyists (that's actual felines that lobby) like them too much and are preventing Congress from doing anything about it. Same goes for their own cat fur, grass, canned and dry food, ants, and anything else that a cat ingests and then promptly throws up. Because cats.

Do you really require a serious answer to "Is a product that is probably the second most purchased cat item, but has isolated anecdotal instances of vomiting, safe?" Cats would throw up air if it would stain the carpet. Erin Brockovich. Out.

1. Select the non-S&S option (another way to buy)
2. Clip the $5 coupon
3. At checkout screen, it offered a 25%off for enabling S&S

I read some of the reviews amazon and some said cats can vomit when eating these? Are these safe for cats?

Got the same extra coupon but had the maximum S&S discount as well. Ended up with a total of 3.64 pre tax. When I ordered Arm & Hammer Platinum last night it took off an additional 7.50 and 4.50 for 8.99 final price, so maybe you're also getting triple dip coupons and should buy some 😉 https://a.co/iBamW31

If you have less than four cats they will all be going "meh" before the container is empty. These go stale quick.

The last time we got these at a retail store all the food smelled very strongly of plastic and our cats wouldn't eat them. They immediate eat any of these from the normal bags. We had to leave the lid off for a day to allow them to air out. Just an FYI in case anyone has the issue too.
