Best value card right now for those of you still holding on to your 1060 but can't wait any longer.
Per Tom's Hardware, this card averages 109fps in 1440p medium, so would pair great with a budget 27" or 32" 1440p 144hz monitor for an incredible experience.
Stomps the 3050 in pretty much everything
Too bad the included games kinda suck.

Saints Row
Sniper Elite® 5

Meh.

Would this work with PCI-E gen 3.0, or will there be performance degradation?

It will work with PCI-e 3.0. It has x8 lanes. Some newer titles seem to be impacted somewhat, but over all no huge concerns.
